interpreter

luax is a Lua interpreter and REPL based on Lua 5.4.4, augmented with some useful packages. It is also a "compiler" that produces standalone executables from Lua scripts.

How to download and setup luax

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/CDSoft/luax.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of luax repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.
it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.
