A simple solution which scans for RS-232 data from a serial device such as a barcode scanner. Inputs it into the clipboard and then pastes it in the active input field of any program.

How to download and setup BarCode

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/DwayneA/BarCode.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of BarCode repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.
it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.
