How to download and setup nodemcu-firmware
Open terminal and run command
git clone https://github.com/nodemcu/nodemcu-firmware.git
git clone is used to create a copy or clone of nodemcu-firmware repositories.

Also you may download zip file with nodemcu-firmware https://github.com/nodemcu/nodemcu-firmware/archive/master.zip
