CatIRC is a IRC Client written for Mac OS X 10.2 - 10.6 The purpose of writing a legacy client is, the present abandonware available does not support the new encrtyption protocols.

How to download and setup CatIRC

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/iheartcoffee/CatIRC.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of CatIRC repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.
it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.
