SrcLog respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how we handle copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
SrcLog is an index and discovery platform. We display metadata about public GitHub repositories — including repository names, descriptions, README content, statistics, and links — all of which are publicly available via the GitHub API.
We do not host source code, binaries, or any original creative works. All content originates from public GitHub repositories whose owners have chosen to make them publicly visible. Our pages link back to the original GitHub repository for all substantive content.
If you believe that content displayed on SrcLog infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice".
Your notice must include all of the following:
If you believe that content was removed from SrcLog as a result of a mistaken or misidentified DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected].
A valid counter-notification must include:
We will forward any valid counter-notification to the original complainant within 10 business days. If the complainant does not take action within 14 business days, we may restore the material.
SrcLog has a policy of removing repositories from its index in appropriate circumstances for users or repository owners who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
Note: If your complaint is about the underlying GitHub repository (not the SrcLog listing), you should contact GitHub directly at support.github.com. Removing a repository from SrcLog does not remove it from GitHub.
