Babelfish for PostgreSQL provides the capability for PostgreSQL to work with applications written for Microsoft SQL Server. Babelfish understands the SQL Server wire-protocol and T-SQL, the Microsoft SQL Server query and procedural language, so you don’t have to switch database drivers or rewrite all of your application queries.
How to download and setup babelfish_extensions
Open terminal and run command
git clone https://github.com/babelfish-for-postgresql/babelfish_extensions.git
git clone is used to create a copy or clone of babelfish_extensions repositories.
You pass git clone a repository URL. it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.
