LuaUnit is a popular unit-testing framework for Lua, with an interface typical of xUnit libraries (Python unittest, Junit, NUnit, ...). It supports several output formats (Text, TAP, JUnit, ...) to be used directly or work with Continuous Integration platforms (Jenkins, Maven, ...).

How to download and setup luaunit

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/bluebird75/luaunit.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of luaunit repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.
it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.
