Example implementation of a modbus device in Cumulocity IoT. The demo device sends random values via modbus TCP. In the following you will see how to easily connect and read the values from the device with Cumulocity IoT.
How to download and setup cumulocity-modbus-demo
Open terminal and run command
git clone https://github.com/SoftwareAG/cumulocity-modbus-demo.git
git clone is used to create a copy or clone of cumulocity-modbus-demo repositories.
You pass git clone a repository URL. it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.
