We propose g-index (GitHub-Based University Ranking) to rank US universities according to their open source contributions.
How to download and setup g-index
Open terminal and run command
git clone https://github.com/hxu296/g-index.git
git clone is used to create a copy or clone of g-index repositories.
You pass git clone a repository URL. it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.
Also you may download zip file with g-index https://github.com/hxu296/g-index/archive/master.zip
Or simply clone g-index with SSH
