Hideout is a self-hosted service that makes private, persistent chat rooms possible. It requires no installation or account creation. Unlike disposable chat, a Hideout room preserves privacy without expiring.

How to download and setup hideout

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/techmindful/hideout.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of hideout repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.
it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.

Also you may download zip file with hideout https://github.com/techmindful/hideout/archive/master.zip

Or simply clone hideout with SSH

[email protected]:techmindful/hideout.git
