backup

rester is a wrapper around restic <https://restic.net/>. Backups are setup using a configuration file. Executing a backup may be initiated with a single command manually or automatically e.g. using cron or systemd.

How to download and setup rester

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/fgma/rester.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of rester repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.
it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.
