How to download and setup steem

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/steemit/steem.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of steem repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.

Also you may download zip file with steem https://github.com/steemit/steem/archive/master.zip

Or simply clone steem with SSH
