Whisper is a file-based time-series database format for Graphite.

How to download and setup whisper

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/graphite-project/whisper.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of whisper repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.
it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.

Also you may download zip file with whisper https://github.com/graphite-project/whisper/archive/master.zip

Or simply clone whisper with SSH
