Presence detection on OpenWrt routers using connect/disconnect events of WiFi clients. Events are published to MQTT with Home Assistant integration.

How to download and setup wifi-presence

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/awilliams/wifi-presence.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of wifi-presence repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.
it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.

Also you may download zip file with wifi-presence https://github.com/awilliams/wifi-presence/archive/master.zip

Or simply clone wifi-presence with SSH

[email protected]:awilliams/wifi-presence.git
