How to download and setup yii2-composer
Open terminal and run command
git clone https://github.com/yiisoft/yii2-composer.git
git clone is used to create a copy or clone of yii2-composer repositories.
You pass git clone a repository URL. it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.
Also you may download zip file with yii2-composer https://github.com/yiisoft/yii2-composer/archive/master.zip
Or simply clone yii2-composer with SSH
