CasADi is a symbolic framework for numeric optimization implementing automatic differentiation in forward and reverse modes on sparse matrix-valued computational graphs. It supports self-contained C-code generation and interfaces state-of-the-art codes such as SUNDIALS, IPOPT etc. It can be used from C++, Python or Matlab/Octave.

How to download and setup casadi

Open terminal and run command

git clone https://github.com/casadi/casadi.git

git clone is used to create a copy or clone of casadi repositories. You pass git clone a repository URL.
it supports a few different network protocols and corresponding URL formats.

Also you may download zip file with casadi https://github.com/casadi/casadi/archive/master.zip
